What This Is

More than a photo day. More personal than a full portrait session.

Standard league photo day is built for volume. It moves fast, it covers a lot of kids, and it does its job.

Greyshore Athlete Minis are something different.

These are studio sports portrait sessions designed for families who want a little more time with their athlete, a more polished result, and access to custom keepsake products that aren’t practical to offer through a standard volume ordering system.

Sessions are held in the Greyshore studio. You bring the uniform. We handle the rest — backdrop, lighting, direction, editing, and ordering gallery.

Athlete Minis are built for individual families. If you’re looking to coordinate sessions for a travel team, club program, or small group — that’s a different path.

Greyshore offers Custom Media Day bookings for teams and organized groups. These can be studio sessions or on-location depending on the program’s needs.

If you’re a coach, club director, or parent coordinator, reach out directly and we’ll put together a plan that fits your group.

Questions

What sports is this for?

Any sport. Soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, cheer, football, lacrosse, golf — if your kid plays it, we can photograph it. Bring the uniform, the gear, or both.

Is this tied to a specific league or school?

No. Athlete Minis are a direct-to-family offer. Any local sports family can book, regardless of what team, club, or school their athlete is with.

Can I book for kids in different sports or different schools?

Yes. Multi-sport families, siblings in different sports, and athletes across different schools or leagues are all a good fit. That’s exactly what this offer is built for.

Can I include siblings or teammates?

Yes to both. Add a sibling athlete for $49 — they’ll each get their own session time within the booking and you can order products for each athlete separately. Buddy shots (with a teammate or friend) are available as a $35 add-on.

What should we bring?

Uniform, any sport-specific gear or props you want included (bat, glove, ball, stick, etc.), and clean footwear. For most sports, the uniform is enough. If your athlete plays multiple sports and you want to include both, that’s the second sport add-on.

How long is the session?

Starter Mini is up to 10 minutes. Signature Mini is up to 15 minutes. Athlete Plus is up to 20 minutes. These are real time windows — not rushed, but focused.

How does the gallery and image selection work?

After your session, Rob culls and edits the best images. You’ll receive a proofing gallery link. You select your included images from that gallery, then choose any add-ons. Edited finals are delivered after selection. Custom products begin after selection is finalized.

What print and product options are available?

Standard print packages start at $35. Custom sports posters, acrylic prints, and Athlete Legacy Composites are also available. All products are ordered through your gallery after your session.

Can older photos from previous sessions be used in a Legacy Composite?

Yes. If Greyshore photographed your athlete in a previous season or year, those images are eligible for use in a Legacy Composite. You don’t need to book a new session to use them.

Are high school athletes a fit for this?

Yes. Especially for multi-sport athletes, senior-year pieces, or families who want a more polished portrait than a standard team photo. Legacy Composites are particularly popular for senior season milestones.

Where do sessions take place?

Athlete Mini sessions take place in the Greyshore studio in Central New Jersey. On-location sessions are available through Custom Media Day for teams and groups — not as part of the standard Athlete Minis family offer.

How long does turnaround take?

Proofing galleries are typically ready within a few business days of your session. Edited finals are delivered after image selection. Custom product turnaround depends on the product and is confirmed at booking.

Rob has worked with me on a six month project for our organization, covering special events celebrating 300 years of history of the Burrowes Mansion in Matawan. Rob and his photographers worked behind the scenes and were virtually invisible seamlessly moving through each aspect of the events. I was looking for a photographer for my child's sport team, my child's HS Senior portraits as well as a a family birthday party. Greyshore Studios has always been happy to accommodate. The photographer, Rob was always on time, patient, respectful to everyone and his ideas are so creative. He was able to capture eye catching moments with every picture taken. I am a full time drummer and I hired Robert and Greyshore to come and shoot my marketing video for my Bad Company tribute band Burning Sky and it was positively the best and only choice. A few weeks before the video Robert and his crew came to look at the location I wanted to shoot the video. He spent a few hours mapping out every detail and making suggestions about what we make the video look great. I am talking back drops, camera placement, made the band a beautiful cloth banner, fog machine and lights etc. This made all the difference in the world when we went to shoot the video. Robert and his crew were very meticulous, neat and clean and even provided us with lunch. Robert and his crew spent a lot of time to make sure every scene looked great and he wasn't in a hurry to finish up. The video took about 7 hours. Robert has all state of the art equipment. I even mentioned to him while he was setting up that it looked like we were shooting a tv commercial. Thats how professional Robert and his crew is. Robert and his staff also took promo pictures for us and they turned out amazing. The photographer took his time and had great ideas for shots. In closing if your serious about furthering your career or need company any kind of marketing video consider Robert and Greyshore Studios. They are top notch! Anthony and Burning Sky.

We had such a GREAT experience with Rob from Greyshore Studios. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The studio was excellent and well laid out, with a comfortable waiting area complete with zen music and mood lighting! The photography equipment was impressive, including a large variety of all kinds of lighting equipment and backdrops (too many to chose a favorite!). The poses he suggested were exactly what we were looking for! And best of all, he made my daughter feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the shoot! Couldn't be happier! HIGHLY recommend!!

Absolutely blown away by the quality of the sports photos from Greyshore Studios! Every year my son’s baseball team orders photos and the photos taken by Greyshore are amazing! Even the team photo is great – and if you have tried to take photos of one kid, much less multiples, you know how difficult that is. Plus they were quick to deliver the photos. I reached out via email with a question and within hours they responded. Professional, good value and great quality - definitely recommend!
